Scanning is done via app, the design can be done on mobile or online. However, you can only scan your room with the mobile app. IKEA Kreativ allows you to digitally remove your existing items.
What is IKEA Kreativ and how does it work?
IKEA Kreativ is a platform that helps you design or redecorate your living spaces.
For the best room scan, please keep these tips in mind:
a. Preparation: Stand with your back against a corner/wall to capture as much horizontally as possible. Make sure to have a good light in the room.
b. Image: Center the image on the desired area. Make sure to include the floor.
c. Save: Remember to save your designs.

In Kreativ, you have multiple product functions: rotate, swap, duplicate, delete, and add to favorites. You can even pull up suggestions for matching products and add products directly to your cart.
IKEA Kreativ still has restrictions when designing your own rooms (e.g. no textiles/ceiling lamps, it is recommended to design kitchens directly with the kitchen planner). Not all products can be added, the product catalog is constantly being expanded.
The ability to view product dimensions is only available on the website. However, you can still get additional product details, such as price, rating, and availability, by selecting the item.
Alternatively, IKEA Kreativ offers over 50 virtual showrooms where you can swap furniture directly or start with empty rooms. Most showrooms are about 4.5 meters wide.

You have to choose a full day window (7am to 7pm), as our transport partner will organize the deliveries in a sustainable and cost-conscious way. They will send you a shorter time window per SMS or e-mail on the evening before the delivery. On the day of the delivery you can track your delivery live to make sure to be present at time of arrival.
