Can UTRUSTA push door openers be used instead of handles/knobs on PAX hinged doors?
Yes, it is possible. The only thing to consider is the correct positioning of the pressure door openers to ensure a convenient opening of the doors.
For a 100cm and a 75cm cabinet, it is recommended to place a shelf approximately in the middle of the cabinet, to place the pressure door openers below the bottom. This is important because otherwise you will have to place the pressure door openers at the top below the top panel or the very bottom and this is not recommended because when you open the cabinet doors, you will also have to press at the top or bottom to open them.
If you have a 75cm frame, note that one door is 50cm wide and the other is 25cm wide. For a 100cm frames, install in the middle, because both cabinet doors are 50cm.
With a 50cm frame, you only need one pressure door opener. This can be installed approximately in the middle of the side wall of the frame to ensure a convenient opening. It should also be noted that it should be placed on the correct side wall, not on the side wall with the hinges.
