Can I take my dog with me to the IKEA store?

Assistance dogs with certificate are allowed in all stores. Each store has different regulations for other dogs.

Aubonne

You can bring your small dog in a bag or buy a blanket for the trolley at the entrance of the store. Dogs on leash are not accepted. Be aware that dogs are not accepted in the restaurant. Dog kennels are available at the entrance.

Dietlikon

You can bring your small dog in a bag or ask for a trolley with a blanket at the entrance. Dogs on leash are not accepted.  Dogs are allowed in the restaurant as long as they remain in their bag/trolley.
Dog kennels with fences are available by the entrance. Locks and bowl are can be asked at the entrance.

Grancia

Dogs on a leash and in small bags are welcome, also in the restaurant. They're not allowed in the trolleys and there is no kennel outside the store.

Lyssach

Small dogs (max 30cm) can sit in a trolley. Dogs on a leash are not accepted. Kennels are available at the entrance for bigger dogs. No information on access to the restaurant, please ask when you're in the store.

Pratteln

Small dogs (max 30cm) can sit in a trolley, also in the restaurant. Dogs on a leash are not accepted. Dog kennels are available by the warehouse entrance. Locks and bowl are available.

Riddes

Dogs on a leash and in small bags are welcome, but not in the restaurant. They're not allowed to sit in the trolleys and there is no kennel outside the store.

Rothenburg

Small dogs (max 30cm) can sit in a trolley. Dogs on a leash are not accepted. No information on access to restaurant, please ask when you're in the store.

Spreitenbach

You can bring your small dog in a bag or in a trolley with a blanket. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant as long as they remain in their bag/trolley.

St. Gallen

Dogs may only be carried in a shopping trolley or bag. Ask the IKEA co-workers at the entrance for a cosy dog blanket. There are also two dog kennels for your four-legged friend in front of the entrance. Guide dogs are allowed without restriction. 

Vernier

Dogs are allowed in small bags and sitting in a trolley on a blanket, but they have to be on a leash. They're also welcome in the restaurant (except queuing line). There is no dog kennel outside the store.
