What are Silent Hours at IKEA?
Silent Hours are a dedicated time in our stores when we intentionally reduce sensory stimuli to create a calmer shopping experience.
- music is turned off
- announcements are limited to emergencies
- operational noise is reduced where possible
- relaxation areas are available in the store
- a quieter seating area is available in the restaurant
With Silent Hours, we aim to make our stores more accessible and inclusive for many people.
