How can I use PostFinance as a payment method?

You can use your PostFinance card directly in store. As a PostFinance customer, you can use TWINT or your PostFinance card as a debit Mastercard online.

You can pay as usual with your PostFinance Card in our stores and at Plan and Order Points. Direct payment with PostFinance Card is not possible online (on IKEA.ch and in the IKEA app).

But don't worry – there are convenient alternatives so you can pay quickly and securely:

TWINT – simple, secure, and directly on your smartphone.

Credit and debit cards – convenient and usable everywhere.

Tip for PostFinance customers: Most PostFinance cards can also be used as Debit Mastercards. This means you can shop online with us.

Here's how it works when you use your PostFinance card as a credit or debit card:

Select “Credit or debit card” when paying.

Enter the 16-digit card number, the expiry date, your name, and the security code.

Make sure that 3-D Secure is activated.
