As we re-open, our top priority continues to be the health and safety of our co-workers, customers and communities. In accordance with the Provincial Health Order, our customer capacity will be limited to 250 people.

We ask customers to be mindful of these limits when they plan a visit to IKEA Winnipeg. This includes planning your specific purchase in advance, checking stock availability on, considering a non-peak time or later date to shop if the need isn’t immediate, and shopping in groups of two or less. Please help us reduce wait times to enter the store by limiting your group size to 2 people of less.

A face mask, covering your mouth and nose is mandatory while you are in our store. Health and safety is a shared responsibility. Limit your group size and maintain a distance of 2 meters between yourself and other people while shopping.

IKEA continues to offer contactless curbside Click & Collect and online shopping with home delivery at  Online planning is also available to assist you with your kitchen, home entertainment, closet and bath purchases.

Return and Exchanges
We strongly encourage you to hang on to your receipt and take advantage of our 365 day return policy until current limits are relaxed. We will be accepting returns and exchanges during regular store hours. The number of customers allowed in the returns area will be limited. Learn more about our 365 day return policy.

The Swedish Food Market will be open for instore shopping. The IKEA Restaurant and Bistro will remain closed.

Click & Collect

You can shop for it in store – but you don’t have to

Contactless Click and collect service is available at select pick-up locations nationwide. Starting at $5, you can place an order online and collect it from your local IKEA store or an external Collection Point.

Here’s how you do it:

Step 1: Choose ‘Click and collect’ at checkout and you will be able to select an IKEA Store or a nearby Collection Point, operated by a third-party partner.

Step 2: Wait until you receive the “Ready for pickup” email before heading to the store.

Step 3: Follow the instructions in the email and proceed to your selected store or collection point. While collection will be contactless, pick-up processes may vary from location to location. Further direction will be communicated upon arrival.

Click & Collect pick-up instructions:

Step 1: Park in one of the designated parking spots at the east end of the loading zone in front of the store.

Step 2: Text your 9-digit order number and parking spot number to the Click and Collect phone number as seen on the parking spot sign.

Step 3: Please wait in your vehicle, we will bring your Click & Collect order to you.

You can purchase toys online at including our annually aniticipated SAGOSKATT soft toy collection. SAGOSKATT is a playful line of soft toys designed by children for a great cuase. It encourages kids to play and directly supports every child's right to play.

All the sales from the SAGOSKATT line of soft toys benefit local children's organizations.

Co-workers from the IKEA Winnipeg Store join Tree Canada each year to support the City of Winnipeg's 1 Million Trees project and at Fort Whyte Alive

The trees we plant help to promote biodiversity in the in our public parks and will help to protect Winnipeg's famous tree canopy.

Our plantings at Fort Whyte Alive help to renew the older forested areas and create new ones to ensure that Fort Whyte Alive will continue to be a vibrant natural destination for families, schools and environmental enthusiasts alike.
