IKEA Montreal is pleased to safely welcome customers back in-store to shop. As we re-open, our top priority continues to be the health and safety of our co-workers, customers and communities.
Health and Safety
We ask customers to be mindful of health and safety protocols when they plan a visit to IKEA Montreal. Plan your specific purchase in advance, check stock availability on IKEA.ca, consider a non-peak time or later date to shop if the need isn’t immediate, shop in groups of two or less and do not linger in-store. You may encounter a wait to get in and are asked to respect physical distancing protocols while in line. Please note – a face mask, covering your mouth and nose is mandatory while you are in our store.
Priority access
We are offering priority access only at the Main Entrance and at the Returns Entrance for frontline healthcare workers and first responders.
A valid piece of ID is required.
Returns and Exchanges
We strongly encourage customers to take advantage of our 365-day return policy and return products at a later time. The number of customers allowed in the returns area will be limited. Learn more about our 365 day return policy.
Online Services
For customer convenience, IKEA continues to offer online planning services, Click & Collect and home delivery via IKEA.ca.
We believe that health and safety is our shared responsibility and we thank our customers for doing their part!

The IKEA Restaurant and Bistro remain closed. The Swedish Food Market will be open for in-store shopping.

Please note that waiting in line does not guarantee entry to the store. The main entrance may close at 4:30pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends in order to support safe distancing and a safe shopping experience. This limitation also applies to returns and exchanges.

Step 1: Once you place your oder, please wait for the "Ready for pickup" email before heading to the store.
Step 2: When you arrive at the store follow the signs to the Click &Collect designated door and parking spots.
Please have your email ready to show the IKEA coworker.
Step 3: If there is a line, kindly wait.
Step 4: If you are sending someone else to pick up your order, you must ensure you specify that during the checkout process and inform the collector to have a valid piece of ID.

Click & Collect
You can shop for it in store – but you don’t have to
Contactless Click and collect service is available at select pick-up locations nationwide. Starting at $5, you can place an order online and collect it from your local IKEA store or an external Collection Point.
Here’s how you do it:
Step 1: Choose ‘Click and collect’ at checkout and you will be able to select an IKEA Store or a nearby Collection Point, operated by a third-party partner.
Step 2: Wait until you receive the “Ready for pickup” email before heading to the store.
Step 3: Follow the instructions in the email and proceed to your selected store or collection point. While collection will be contactless, pick-up processes may vary from location to location. Further direction will be communicated upon arrival.
Click & Collect pick-up instructions:
Step 1: Once your order is complete, wait until you receive the «Ready for pickup» email before heading to the store.
Step 2: One you arrive at the store, follow the signs to the Click & Collect designated entrance. If there is a line-up, please get in line, respect social distancing and please wear a mask.
Step 3: Please have your confirmation email visible and a valid piece of ID, with picture preferably, such as a driver's license or medicare card.
Convenient Delivery
We offer delivery to almost anywhere in Canada. Delivery service is based on the delivery method and destination.
Book a planning service appointment
Get advice from our experts to plan your dream kitchen or transform a room, all from the comfort of your home or at your preferred IKEA store.
Services include: Kitchen, Bathroom, PAX wardrobe, Home furnishing, Living room and Office planning.
Recycling
We offer an in-store recycling service for Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFL) & Battery recycling. The mattress removal & recycling service is also available for customers booking home delivery only.
TaskRabbit assembly
TaskRabbit is an on-demand service available on the web that conveniently connects you with the network of TaskRabbit. Handling everything from in-home furniture assembly and mounting to basic handyman services.
IKEA for Business
If you are a business or contractor looking to place a large order or just need a little extra help, our IKEA for Business team is here! We can help you to co-ordinate your business order. Visit us in person in the workspaces department.
