Product details

With the shortcut button you can run your different scenes from the IKEA Home smart app without using your smartphone.

Why not kickstart your mornings with a tap of your fingertip? By placing a shortcut button by your bed, you can instantly turn on lights, raise blinds, and play a morning playlist to wake up your senses.

DIRIGERA hub is the heart of a smart home as it enables you to connect and control your smart products in the IKEA Home smart app.

With a smart home from IKEA, it's easy to create smarter everyday moments with lighting, speakers, blinds and air quality products.

Found the perfect combination of cozy lighting and music? Save it as a 'Scene' in the app! By creating your own scenes, the right mood for any occasion is just a tap away.

Trigger scenes with schedules or manually with a shortcut button or the app, for example when you want to turn off all lights and other smart products with a single press when leaving home in the morning.

Scenes can also be used to schedule lights to be turned on when you're away, for the air purifier to clean the air before bedtime, or for the blinds to roll down to prevent indoor heat from the sun.

This smart product can also be used with TRÅDFRI gateway and controlled through the IKEA Home smart 1 app. Features may vary depending on the smart home hub and app it’s connected to.

Eats batteries, picky about pairingScottIf you can get these things to connect at all, they last a month or so max before dying and you have to start over. They're really not worth the considerable headache it takes to set up.1
Several issuesDustinI’ve bought four of these. Over the course of a year two stopped working. One of the replacements stopped working. They drain batteries very quickly as well.1
It works, but had a number of duds.DavidI bought 2 of these buttons to use with SmartThings instead of the IKEA gateway. All of them had the backing screw so tight it was difficult to open (one had a stripped screw out of the package) Getting them into pairing mode was also tricky, with one of the two needing a dozen presses of the pairing button. One that I bought would not pair at all, so it had to be returned. Once connected, they seem to work fine, and with Smartthings, they can have customized actions for both a tap, and a long press3
Works greatSophiaDoes the job, cute little button that we use to turn on the laundry room lights. Easy to set up and use.5
Works great!MichaelYou have the option to set short press or long press options in the button. Love it!5
Works as expectedTrevorIf you only use the Tradfri app to manage your smart home, then it's great. If you use HomeKit, then not so much. It doesn't pass the button to HomeKit, but then it never advertised that it would. Just something to be aware of.5
