Poorly made complementary lightsKyleThey look great and provide adequate light for the PAX Wardrobe system. Unfortunately, the adhesive does not hold. I've had to superglue all of the plastic bracket pieces to the adhesive strips to make the lights stay. Secondly, there must be very poor tolerances for the light housing and the rod that holds the light as there is way too much vertical play in the rod that holds the light. This causes the front of the housing to droop and now the PAX doors lightly ding the lights as you open or close them. There is at least 0.5" of vertical play that I've had to remedy via shims to maintain enough height for door clearance. Maybe others have had better experiences, but I believe this is a cheap and poorly made product. Maybe it passes QC, but in practice, it is not worth the purchase. I wish IKEA would make a better exterior light for the PAX Wardrobe system.2
Not a complete itemJenniferVery disappointing to drive an hour each way to IKEA,just to get home and find out we need additional parts to install a light!!!! Completely disappointing. Bought 2….will be returning 2. There should have been some warning, otherwise just sell the complete kit! It’s not like people have extra drivers and power supplies laying around. Big Fail :(1

Doesn’t come with power supply!! DianeIKEA…for the love of god…somehow make it clearly known that you have to purchase a SEPARATE power supply for this light! One time I purchased some plastic covers for glass storage containers because I didn’t like how I had to hand wash the wood ones, and was flagged at checkout that I wasn’t purchasing the two products together. Maybe do that?? Flag the light to make sure the customer knows they need to purchase the power supply?? Ughhh….2

Light is great; mounting adhesive not so muchShellyWe were trying to avoid having to permanently mount the brackets that the lights slide into so we used the included douple sided adhesive. We prepared the surface (the top of a Billy bookcase) as instructed and it worked and looked great. Within a couple of days, however, the adhesive loosened up and the lights began to tilt forward. We ended up screwing the mounting plate to the top of the bookcase and they're great, but just be cautious about using that adhesive method for keeping them up. 4
Nice lights. Buying extra bulbs is very difficultJaePurchased some book shelf lights several years ago. A bult went out and replacement bulbs were not available. These lights look better so not a bad time to upgrade. We tried to purchase additional bulbs, but we can't figure out what bulbs to purchase. I'm hoping this isn't Ikea's way of getting us to buy new lights. 4

You have to buy every part separateMarciaThese seem like good lights. But there is a catch. You have to buy every single part separate! You buy the actual light, then you need to buy the cord, then if you want it wireless, you have to buy their remote...pretty soon a $25 light ends up being $40+ just to get it to work! This is my first IKEA purchase in years and I forgot why I don't shop here. They really nickel and dime you for everything! Buyer beware - you will pay at least double to have this light funcitonal.2

Dimmer?SterlingComes with a dimmer that apparently doesn’t work unless you have their WiFi hub? So what is the point of this kit having a dimmer that is unusable? A couple of comments mention using Philip hues or a Lutron hub, but it’s not clear how that is done. 4

Don't forget to order the plug it doesn't come with the light fixture.
Don't use the adhesive strip to stick the lights it came off after 2-3 weeks. Use the nails instead which are provided.
