Absolutely terrible. MeganBought two of these, neither is able to be assembled. I’ve put together a lot of flat pack furniture over the years (in fact part of my job includes assembling stuff like this), and I have never seen anything this poorly made. Following the directions to a tee, both chairs have seats between 1.5 and 2 inches narrower than the seat back, which means they cannot be screwed in place. I even took them apart and tried to assemble them another way, no dice. I usually love IKEA and have no trouble building their products. Complete trash. Avoid like the plague.1
Great ChairsAnonymous reviewerI went and tried these in person before ordering and got them in the blue. The color is great! Only four pieces plus screws, super easy assembly. One screw wasn't grabbing but we swapped positions with another and it worked. These chairs are also stackable, which is a big plus that's not mentioned in the product details. 4
Assemby NightmareAnonymous reviewerThis is the first piece of IKEA furniture that I’ve been unable to assemble (and I own a lot). The seat piece is about 2 inches smaller than the frame and the side screws are too short to reach the seat to be able to screw it into place. Even if they’d reach, tightening them would cause the chair to bend out of shape and the feet would no longer touch the floor evenly. Super frustrating.1
