Good chairs, but did not lastBrianWe bought four chairs. They were sticky with sap in some parts but that was expected. Our main issue was that the connector between two of the legs broke within a year on one chair.
JunkyRachelThey lasted less then 10 months and you have to be careful who sits on them. They can topple over if a little kid leans over. One of our seats cracked in half and screws and plastic pieces holding the screws cracked on another. Can work if you weight about 100lb and are an adult.
Broke instantlyHelenOrdered 3 of them--one of the seats split within a week, and the back of another is falling apart. Too flimsy to hold themselves together.

Chair seat problemsCEasy to assemble EXCEPT for the seat.
3 problems with the seat:
1. Seat not marked where to put screws or screw hole started.
2. 4 screws provided were not for the wrench but were Phillips head screws
3. Screws either too long or seat too thin. Screws started to protrude the seating surface . Would not recommend

I owned 3 used Pintorp chairs for about 10 yrs., then passed them on to friends who are still happily using them.
They are comfortable & supportive for me at 5'3".
Just PerfectGwendolynI needed a simple straight back chair to facilitate my in-home pulley therapy. I’m unable to drive at this time, so your quick delivery was helpful in my quest to get back behind the wheel. My friend put the chair together and there were no problems. The seat height is perfect for my tasks at hand.
No HolesDanetteThe chair was relatively easy to put together. There are no holes bored into the wood for the last 4 screws. It took a minute (and a lot of effort) to screw them into the wood. However, the last screw would not go in due to (I guess) the wood being of a different make-up than the rest of the chair. The wood in this particular spot was darker and not as easy get the last screw in. The screw just kept going around and around. I don't have a drill and I'm not going to buy one for this last screw that would not going into wood.

Small and lightweightRachelleSmall lightweight chairs. They work well with our little table. Beautiful color. Only complaint, one doesn’t sit quite flat. I’m sure it’s something that I did during assembly, I’m just not sure what or how to fix it. But that’s on me. The instructions were easy to follow, it required a lot of finger strength to get the screws in with the tool they gave you.
Reasonable but very basicDonnaReasonable price. Very basic and light in weight. We are small in stature so it's fine for us but not for someone taller or heavier. Finish is very light - mistakenly thought it was unfinished.
Doubting Dowel Rods Bernie Pinntorp chairs are pretty sturdy, however, the holes for the wooden dowel rods are a bit too small to allow for simple insertion of the dowel rods without pounding them in. Also the bottom of the legs are missing floor protectors. Pinntorp tables seem to come equipped with the floor protectors on the bottom of the legs.
Affordable seatingMarkI bought four of these chairs to supplement our dining table seating and to match our recently acquired IKEA table. Perfect match at an excellent price.
