Child-sizedCharityThese chairs are cute, easy to assemble, and a great value for the money. However, they are child-sized and look silly at my small, round Ethan Allen dining table. They belong in an elementary classroom, not a dining room. Although we reviewed the measurements of these chairs prior to purchase, their appearance and scale vs. a true dining table is smaller than we had anticipated.

Very poorly manufacturedChrisI would not buy these again. The manufacturing is very poor. The seat is held on with flimsy plastic pieces that have to be inserted in parts of the wood frame. The holes for these are not drilled out correctly. The first one I tried to build had the plastic snap off and break when I tried to insert it in the small hole. The broken stem could not be removed from the hole, so that set was ruined. You have to attach the seat using screws through these plastic pieces, but there are no holes for the screws in the seat. You're supposed to just muscle them in there somehow and hope it's straight. Using my drill several times I managed to get one together. They're sturdy enough and made of wood if you can get it together.
