Excellent desk and valueNeedmorecoffeeVery happy with the desk. It fits my space perfectly under a window where there is good light. The cubbies are quite roomie and easily fit a shoe box sized container. It is solid and stable. The chair hole is a good size and allows me to cross my legs while sitting. I have already recommended it to a friend.5
Please read this before you buyRobMcI have always been a big fan of IKEA furniture. Prior to buying this item I have probably assembled a half dozen furniture items from major cabinets to simple footstools. My reviews have already been 5 stars in turns of quality and cost, but three stars for the instructions. For this purchase, I have retained the 5 star rating for quality, but would give it 0 stars for the instructions! You have to know that I love assembling things. I carefully read the instructions to see how I can improve them (IKEA should hire me to do this) and sometimes even make changes in the construction by adding things to make them stronger and more durable. Like all of my previous IKEA products all the parts were there and in good shape. The instructions in typical IKEAease, had no words, only pictures. The instructions included a part list for the small hardware, but none for the actual wood parts, which was critical since several pieces seemed identical on a superficial inspection, but on closer examination were clearly not the same. None of the pieces had any identifying stickers or part numbers stamped on to each part, but even if they had it would have been worthless because the instructions had no words to identify the wood parts by part number. Problems began on the first page where the instructions seemed to indicate that the metal lugs which are what really holds everything together should be inserted and tightened. Instruction 2 however showed that the wooden dowels had to be inserted first, before inserting and tightening the metal lugs. No big problem since it only required disassembling 8 lugs. Then I noticed that one of the wooden pieces I was using was the wrong one. Not off to a good start. On instructions 10 thru 14 you have to be very careful to move your assembly because if you did not it would be very easy for the whole thing to rip apart. This, however, could be partially alleviated by inserting the top shelf to give it more stability and taping it to the support pylons so it could not fall out. From here on I always needed assistance to move it around to make further assembly easier (I always do the assembly on a card table so I can work more comfortably). So things went relatively well until instruction # 19 and 20 when I realized that there was no way a normal or even short screwdriver could be used to tighten two lugs on a back piece. I needed to get my ratchet wrench set and insert a regular screw into it so that I had room to actually tighten it (and then needed my assistant to use a flash light into the assembly so I could see what I was doing. Later you need to flip the unit completely over which requires you to reverse the extra top shelf I inserted so it would not fall out when inverted. After that it was home free. Again it seems very sturdy, but I do not know what the purpose of three pieces (see instruction 11) are used for and why it couldn’t be replaced with a single board which would be just as strong and simplify assembly quite a bit. Good luck: remember 5 stars (actually 4.6 due to this last comment) on quality (and cost); but 0 for instructions.4
BeckerzInstructions were pretty vauge, even by Ikea standards. But after a few hiccups, I got the desk put together in about an hour. The desk itself is on the smaller side, but really nice. Cord keeper is a nice spot to keep a power strip.4
Perfect for my kidsies6582very happy, I bought 2 of then for my 2 kids, now with the remote learning they have their own space to study and get their things organized.5

Great desk for a great priceCatrandoI bought this for my daughter to use as a computer desk. Works great, looks nice. She likes the little cubbies for storing stuff.5
SmallArtzyThis is a small desk. Works in a pinch but better for kids or average to small teenagers. Not really an adult desk. Looks nice. Easy to put together2
good simple desk for kidsnickname1234567The price was reasonable and product is sturdy. Assembly was easy and I was able to put it together by myself in an hour. The compartment on the back side for cables and wires seems not being useful as the cables don't stay inside anyway.4
Easy assemblyHuan SJNice table and easy assembly parts together5
