Lots of shelving space!PixBitz1000I got this desk after trying two others, which were out of stock. And it's amazing! It has plenty of space to put papers and so much more! I am very pleased with all the shelving space and am glad that you can make them as big as you want. I would like to add, however, that it took quite a while to get it set up. Still, I think it's a lovely desk and am very excited to use it more! Thanks!5
Great corner desk and great featuresSocaleah68Bought this a month ago for my son's room, to get him ready to do distance-learning for school. He and I put this together in a couple of hours. Lots of parts but once we got going it was pretty simple, just a little time-consuming. But it was nice to do a project like this together and the desk is awesome. Very happy with the outcome.5
Hear me outNot a KarenHere’s the deal. There are instructions yes, but I don’t feel like playing a guessing game with what goes where. Labels would help and frankly it should come with a 12 pack of beer to make assembling less frustrating. Now I understand why people joke about IKEA home assemblies.1
Fantastic corner cubby deskMascarairisI Bought this about a month ago, due to Covid I’m having to work at home. And it is perfect for my space. My house didn’t have a lot of room in it, and this fits well in the corner of the bedroom. I like that’s it’s pretty enclosed so I have a since of having a dedicated space. And despite having a smaller footprint. I am able to have my partner’s huge flat apple desk top in the back and still have room for my iPad and work lap top. I like the closing file holder and really love the fact that the shelves are adjustable. It really fur the bill perfectly for working at home, having a dedicated space has been wonderful. My inky complaint is it is a little short for my desk chair arm rests to be up all the way (like I prefer them) but it’s not a huge deal. Took about 2 hours to build by myself.5
Do not buy this darned deskKLDCI had this desk for three years, THREE wonderful years. The desk is great, is a decent size and is able to fit a lot of things including my 27” iMac. You know is great, until you have to move. The desk doesn’t fit through the door. So you try every angle and nope the curve gets stuck no matter how you try it. So you think dissemble it, is just not that easy. It was easier assembling this desk than taking it out. I ended up keeping the top half and throwing away the legs.1
DabidoSturdy. Fights exactly to the corner. Shelves can be easily adjusted. The whiteboard on the back panel is a nice surprise. I can easily write notes or use magnets on it.5
Do not buy. Cardboardasunset4meDo not buy this product. I bought 2 for my daughters. The first one got bumped while putting it together. It is so soft that the bump created a hole on the desktop surface. The second desk had the corner leg break. To my surprise, the inside of the leg is empty with a cardboard shell under the white plastic coating. The rest is hollow. The particle board is only in the places where the connectors need to attach to each other.1
Great work spaceamyvalI bought this for my daughter. It took me about 3 hours to put together. I was impressed by the quality of the hardware. None of the screws were stripped by the time I tightened them so I'm hopeful that this could actually be taken apart and moved if necessary. I did run into a problem when trying to install the tilting file holder in the hutch part of the desk. The holes to install the bottom plastic plate and the tilting holder did not align correctly. (Yes, I checked to make sure I had the correct pieces. It's pretty easy to tell by the diagram. The side panels on the side with the tilting drawer have different holes than the side with just the shelf.) My daughter decided she didn't really need it so it wasn't that big a deal for us but if you specifically wanted that feature, it would be frustrating. Overall the pieces felt solid and did not chip or splinter at all when assembling and the directions were easy to follow. For the money, I think it was a good deal and my daughter loves it.4
Missing HardWARE!cstanczI bought this and it does not have the hardware in it. The box was ripped, and now no one is answering me so I have this desk I bought with no screws to assemble.1
Love it!!bbygrl81I needed a desk for work from home that wouldn't take up a lot of room and would fit in the corner! This desk is perfect! The only thing I would change is the part that tips for files, it needs something to organize it better!4
Kev2017Good product, just want I was looking for.5
Great deskalexaBBGood quality, looks very good. Exactly what we were hoping for. Excellent value.5
Perfect for a cornerElChullaAs always, follow the directions exactly and slowly, it is a bit of a complicated assembly and should definitely be done with two people if at all possible. But the directions are very clear and if you lay everything out (we payed out the parts on the bed) and then methodically follow the directions the result will be a very nice sized corner desk with lots of options for placing items, and a nice work area. The magnetic panels are very nice for displaying photos and posting notes, etc. This is my wife’s desk and I suggest that it be reserved for one person. We positioned the “open” leg side to the right instead of left, the directions leave you this option and assembly is the same procedurally. We placed a Billy white bookshelf to the right and it looks really nice and expands the area into kind of a “study”. My wife loves it.5
Deb1388Really glad I bought it. Great desk.5
PerfectCc429hPerfect corner desk, loved the dark color5
Yolla417I like all the furnitures5
Sturdy thick walls, looks greatloramccIt's a good desk for the money. Wish it was a bit easier to assemble, since I had to do it by myself. I did manage and it looks great.4
micke worksone more ikea fanis very functional. looks good, fitted well in the space needed.5
Perfect for a little girls room!renrogersQuick, easy assembly. Solid and fits perfectly in the corner of the room without taking too much room. The only downside is the door on the left side of the shelves is VERY difficult to open.5
Super functional desk for a small space!QuirkyChaosPut this together yesterday in just under 3 hours (definitely would have been easier with another person – getting the backboard up on its own took me nearly 45 minutes...). I live in a large studio, and this is the perfect size to fit in a corner and give me a little work/gaming space. Two things I didn't realize: 1. The desk doesn't come with a drawer/door on the bottom left of the shelves, it's a flip-down file holder? Pretty happy with it so far, but not what it looked like in the photos. 2. Being so small, the shelves are not as deep as I'd like – I have some shoebox storage bins and even sideways they stick out. Not a deal-breaker at all, but that's what I get for not reading the dimensions! Overall, this desk is just what I was looking for right now, really cute.4

Designer thoughts

"My idea with the MICKE series was to simplify everything we do with our computers and mobile phones in today's high-tech world. Like keeping in touch with friends, downloading films and music, working or printing out tickets. The goal was to create a real dream product with maximum functions in a minimum space. One smart thing is the built-in cable management, so you can hide away all the cables. Another is that all the parts have the same depth and height so everyone can create their own favorite combination."
