Nice but flaws for usKarriI purchased this set for my daughter to use as an L-shaped desk. I was very surprised to see how light it was, and hoped it would be strong enough to hold her monitors and gaming tower. She does mention that it shakes, but feels it is sturdy enough. Our big complaint: You can't see it good in the photo, nor would you think to look for something like this, but there is a bulky silver bracket used to attach the desk slab to the shelf unit. Once attached, the bracket is ugly on the beautiful white surface, and it doesn't allow for the pieces to be flush together for a continuous desk top due to the raised metal surface. There should have been a better way to attach the pieces. Had we thought about it, we probably could have purchased another set of legs and just made it 2 separate pieces rather than use the silver bracket. Can't do it now because there would be holes where the bracket was. But, if this isn't an issue for you, the piece is very nice.
Great dealMartinI bought two of these units and put a stand/sit desk between them to create a "U" shaped work area and I love it. Great option for storage or work area.
So much qualityMaritaI made a whole wall of the cubbies. They are versatile, sturdy and beautiful. I have the desk attached it is wonderful. I have used a sewing machine and the ceramic items and statues didn't even jiggle. Recommend for everyone.

Perfect sewing table!JoanneI am using it as a sewing table. Instead of having the shelf upright, I laid it on its side and I have an L-shaped sewing table. The table is study enough for sewing and I have canvas storage bins underneath to hide materials.
