Great for small apartmentEleanorGot this desk for my work from home set up in a very small city apartment. It works perfectly. It is low profile, but the pull out function adds enough space to work comfortably. I put my key board and mouse on the lower shelf and set my monitor on the main desk. It works great. It was a huge pain to build, but the heavy material is good quality.

parts don't fit properly JinThe screws to place the slide out desk does not attach to the metal part properly in step 17 of the instructions manual leaving much of the screws still sticking out. Manual states 1 person should be able to assemble by yourself, however at the very last step the manual attaches the slide out desk to the metal part for final assembly, this should be a 2 person job to hold the slide out desk in mid-air to attach the screws, or else the screw doesn't line up with the hole and will have damaged screws and not be able to screw everything tightly, resulting in screws still sticking out.
Perfection!LisaGot this for a little nook - it's the perfect size. My kids love it (and fight over who gets to use it). So nice to push the desk in so it's out of the way, or extend it when it's homework time. Height works for kids and adults both!
Desk I needed!PatriciaThis is a perfect size desk. I work from home , and it’s really a safe spacer. The only problem I found was that the sliding part doesn’t have a brake ? So it is constantly sliding back in. Which gets annoying for an 8 hour work day.
Incredibly difficult to put together SaraI used to love putting Ikea furniture together. It was easy and satisfying. 10 days later and I still have a blister on my middle finger from how hard it was to screw the bottom desk to the tracks. I had to stop midscrew and now it catches everytime I open and close it. I do like the desk though.
