Step 1: Choose the type of lighting for the inside
Wardrobe lighting illuminates the inside of your closet, making it easy to pick the right items. We offer different types of lighting for inside your wardrobe:
- Cabinet lighting with a motion sensor that automatically switches on and off when you open or close the door.
- Battery‑powered cabinet lighting. No cables or outlets needed.
- Smart cabinet lighting that works with IKEA Home smart. Dim and control your cabinet lighting in the IKEA Home smart app.

Step 2: Choose your driver
With the ANSLUTA driver, you can connect up to 6 light sources and turn them on and off with just one press of a button. This driver can also be used for lamps with a sensor. If you’ve purchased the ROLFSTORP lamp, you don't need a driver.
Keep in mind that with an ANSLUTA driver, you cannot dim your lights. If you want this feature, choose a TRÅDFRI driver. You’ll also need the correct connection cables and a remote control.
Step 3: Add exterior cabinet lighting
Discover the possibility of extra lighting on top of your cupboard. With our elegant closet lamps, you can easily shine light on the clothes in your closet.
For exterior lighting, you need a TRADFRI driver, connecting cables and a remote control.
