Steun planken MaureenDe steuntjes van de planken 10051660 ( 10075382) zijn het aller, aller slechtse ontwerp . Moeilijk te plaatsen en bijna onmogelijk om te verplaatsen. Voor een boekenkast had er een plank bijgemoeten voor een betere verdeling. Helaas is het niet mogelijk bij IKEA een extra plank erbij te kopen. Wel tevreden over de kast zelf.
Surprisingly bad qualityCindyThe frame looks and feels very flimsy. That's when we should have stopped and returned it.
The shelf pegs are a combination of a metal pin and plastic. They are supposed to be pushed into the holes. But on several pegs the pin detached. The pegs are one-way meaning you can't easily pull them out to adjust the height of a board. You need pliers the get the pegs out and this damages the holes.
We tried to use our own shelf pegs. But the holes are too big for 3 mm pegs and too small for 5 mm pegs.
The shelf boards are 2-3 mm too short on each side, which results in ugly gaps between boards and frame.
You also cannot place 2 of these bookcases next to each other because the top shelf board sticks out 2 mm. You get a weird gap in between.
All in all a complete piece of junk.
2h wasted to buy the bookcases, half a day wasted to assemble, trouble shoot and trying to find workarounds. And another half day to be wasted to return the bookcases to IKEA.
