You get what you pay forMichaëlThe positives are that it's cheap, and it does an adequate job at holding the roll. There are however a few downsides. It being rectangular means it is cheaper to manufacture, but the edges scrape of tiny cardboard particles from the inside of the roll creating a layer of paperdust around it. If a roll has been squished slightly and the cardboard is no longer perfectly round it quickly becomes more difficult to use as well. All in all it's pretty decent for €2, but I regret not spending a few euros more.3

Wasn't feeling confident enough in it to make holes in my new cabinet, used two clear Command Hook adhesive strips to attach it and works surprisingly well! Very sturdy and low stakes in case I change my mind later
