    So annoyingly noisy!AlexandraIkea changed their bed design for the Malm and this newest iteration is unbelievably squeaky and annoying. The bed is properly assembled with a power driver and still it squeaks horribly. Ikea obviously knows about it since they have many reviews saying the same thing and they have replied to many of them. Ikea: rather than making us disassemble a bed we've just spent a couple of hours assembling so we can soak fasteners in dish soap or try other hacks, you could just give us a product that works properly out of the box. I know you can do it: the Malm bed used to be fine. But in your relentless pursuit of cheaper products and making more profit, you're making a bed that isn't nice to sleep in without your customer going through all kinds of trial and error to fix it or having to take it all apart and return it. Bit of a novel concept maybe, but it just might work.2

    3 years later - the headboard is wobblyNadiaIt's a nice comfortable bed, the headboard is really high also, I'm not sure if everyone likes that. It took half a day to assemble by 2 men, I could not lift the parts myself. The base is really good, but sadly the headboard became very wobbly, if I move the bed or if I lean against it I feel like it could fall off. That's disappointing.4

    What is veneer?
