    This product has a non-stick coating where no PTFE or other PFAS have been allowed.

    Wash this product before using it for the first time.

    Avoid heating a dry and empty frying pan too quickly, especially with the induction hob's booster function, as this can cause the pan to warp and negatively affect the coating's non-stick properties.

Worked only for 2 weeksRohitI could use the pan only for 2 weeks before the non-stick coating became non-functional and all the food would stick to the pan. Not sure if the product was defective or my usage was incorrect, but this turned out to be a very short term buy and had to throw the pan away.2

Love the new IKEA frypans. Well made, sturdy, reasonably non stick (depending on skills of the chef), clean up easily. Next Visit to IKEA we will get some more for the caravan.

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
