Cannot replace the USB cable + parasitic drawDenilsonThe lamp is quite bright, but is directed downwards and won't hit your eyes. It has 3 brightness settings and 4 white temperature settings. It draws up to 390mA at the brightest, up to 120mA at the medium, and up to 60mA at the dimmest, all at 5V.
Unfortunately, it also draws about 10mA (or 0.05W) even when off, and that's because capacitive buttons need energy to detect touch. Thus, I'd advise you to always unplug the lamp when not being used, specially when connected to a battery-powered device (such as a laptop or a power bank).
This leads to the second problem: the cable isn't detachable. If the cable is too long for you, you have to fold it or roll it up. If it's too short, tough luck. And the strain of folding it plus several plug/unplug cycles will eventually wear the cable off. Since it cannot be removed or replaced, you will have no option to salvage the lamp.
It's a shame. I wish they had designed it with just a USB-C port, and we would use our own cable.

Would have been amazing BUTJoannaThe lamp comes solely with type C connection and no adapter. Meaning it can only be used with a laptop or with C type adaptor, which if I have to purchase, the lamp would costs me twice as much! Not suitable as a standard standing lamp which is a real pitty because the design and other features are stunning!
