Kitchen appliances warranty

Has something gone wrong with your appliance? We're sorry to hear that! We'd like to find a solution as soon as possible.

At IKEA, you receive a standard 5-year warranty on kitchen appliances. This ensures that they will serve you for a long time to come. This warranty applies to the whole range with the exception of TILLREDA and LAGAN. Here the legal warranty of 2 years applies.

The warranty process always runs first through the supplier to see if repair is possible. Follow the steps below so that we can best help you with your possible claim.

  1. Check the instruction manual for troubleshooting information
  2. Check if your purchase qualifies for a warranty claim
  3. Enter your article number to get the contact details that go with it.
  4. Get in touch with the supplier for warranty and support.

Step 1: Check the instruction manual for troubleshooting information

For troubleshooting information, refer to the instruction manual for the appliance's in the first instance. Continue with step 2 if you can't find a solution.

Not able to find your instruction manual?

This manual can also be found in the product information on our website. See below images to discover how to find your manual.

You can look up any device via the search bar (A). You will then end up on the product page of the device.
You can then find the PDF version of the manual on the product page by scrolling down and clicking on "Product details" (B). A menu opens, you then click on "Assembly & documents" (C).

Step 2: Check if your purchase qualifies for a warranty claim

You will also need proof of purchase to make a warranty claim. Here you will see when the appliance was purchased and if the warranty is still valid.

Check the IKEA kitchen appliance warranty to see whether you can make a claim.

Step 3: Enter your article number to get the contact details that go with it.

We develop our range of electrical appliances together with different manufacturers, which means we also work with different service partners to repair your product. To help you get in touch with the right supplier for any warranty questions, all you need is your article number. You will find the article number on the product label, just like in the image next to this text.

Stap 4: Get in touch with the supplier for warranty and support

Now that you have the right contact details, you can reach out to the supplier. They will assess whether the issue with your kitchen appliance is covered under warranty. In some cases, IKEA will handle the warranty request directly – if that’s the case, we will ask you to contact us instead.

Please note: if the defect has caused a hazardous situation, like a short circuit, make sure to contact IKEA as well.

Additional information

Is someone coming by? Call-out charges and/or repair costs may be charged if the partner still concludes that the defect is not covered by the warranty.

When a technician comes to you, make sure that your appliance is easily accessible for the repair, to avoid having to pay a bill afterwards for additional work.
