Any changes you make to your membership through the online profile must be approved by the administrator. The difference in roles gives you and your co-workers a clear and complete overview of your IKEA purchases and helps you keep track of them. When you are a member of IKEA for Business, we give you a unique IKEA for Business number. Learning what our customers need, helps us develop better or new products, more relevant communications and promotions specific to your business. We also use this information so our customer service can better target you as an IKEA for Business member. Whether it's purchases, your designs created using our planners or the contact you've had with customer service, as long as you're an active IKEA for Business member, we'll make sure your data is preserved.
As an IKEA for Business member, you can indicate in your profile whether you want to be contacted for commercial messages. This way we know where to find you when we have something nice for you (new products, special offers, inspiring workshops) or when we want to inform you about something else. For example, we can let you know when the dream kitchen you designed in our kitchen planner is at a reduced price.
When your IKEA for Business membership isn’t actively used anymore, your profile will be deleted after 2,5 years. By active we mean any action with the IKEA for Business account, so in other words; logging in, having your IKEA for Business card scanned, etc. We have to keep transaction data for 7 years for tax purposes. You can delete your profile at any time. See how this works under "Unsubscribe".
