When do I use an underlay with a rug?
The underlay absorbs dust and sand and protects against scratches. It also keeps your rug in place, and it makes your rug feel softer to walk on.
An underlay has the following benefits:
- It keeps the rug in place; this reduces your risk of slipping and the rug will be easier to clean with a vacuum cleaner.
- The anti-slip strip is easy to cut or fold to the right size. Combine several underlays if you have a large rug.
- The thick felt makes the rug softer and warmer to walk on.
- Protects the floor against scratches since it absorbs dust and sand.
The STOPP FILT underlay rug can be used on all types of floors, also on floors with underfloor heating.
