What should I pay attention to if I choose curtains with loops, eyes or a pleated tape?

To make sure curtains with eyes and loops glide smoothly over the curtain rod, there needs to be enough space between the eyes/loops and the rod. Please note that pleating tape makes your curtain narrower, so you may need a wider curtain than when there is no pleating tape.

You can choose curtains with loops or eyes which you can directly hang on the curtain rod. The loops have a diameter of 4 cm. For these curtains, use a curtain rod with a diameter of 2.5 cm (the HUGAD curtain rod, for example).

We also have curtains with pleating tape. You can pleat these curtains with the RIKTIG curtain hooks. Please note that curtains become narrower when pleated. A curtain of 145 cm will be reduced to 100 cm when pleated.
