Hydrangeas (Hortensia)
Hortensia is a popular plant because of its large and colourful flowers. They can grow as trees or climbing vines, but most are grown as a shrub. A basic rule is to look at the leaves. Are they starting to drop? Then it's time for watering.
Jasminum
Jasminum plants, or jasmines, are known for the seductive scent that comes once the flowers bloom. The jasmine is a climbing tree and can, if you allow it, grow quite big. It’s a perfect choice if you have an espalier in your garden. The jasmine is happiest in a sunny, but cool place. When it comes to water, this is a thirsty plant especially when it blooms. A good rule is to keep the soil slightly moist at all times.
