How does the Standard delivery work?
To use this service, simply add the items you want to your shopping cart, select Furniture delivery at checkout, and choose the standard delivery option. Once you have entered your shipping details, selected your preferred delivery date, and completed your order, you will receive shipping information via confirmation email and SMS. On the day of delivery, please make sure that the aisle is secured, and the recipient must be on site. The delivery driver will transport the goods directly to the room you specify. If you see any issues such as missing or damaged items, please notify the driver immediately on site and contact IKEA Customer Support at 1670-4532.
- Order Steps
a. Add the desired items to your shopping cart, select Furniture Delivery at checkout, and select the standard delivery option. If you don't see this option, it may be because it's in a non-deliverable area (such as some book areas).
b. Enter detailed shipping instructions along with your address and select your preferred delivery date. Standard deliveries do not have a separate time slot and are delivered between 8 am and 8 pm.
c. Please check the weight of the product at the checkout stage, as well as the shipping cost automatically calculated according to your membership and region. (Based on IKEA Family members: 14,000 won for less than 25 kg / 34,000 won for less than 300 kg / 54,000 won for less than 600 kg.
d. You must confirm your order and verify that your payment information and shipping choices are correct. In particular, you must make sure that the size of the product packaging can enter the house without any problems.
e. Please request changes to your order as soon as possible. Changing a product does not mean adding/removing a product after the order has been created. a. We will send you a confirmation email or SMS with your selected delivery date and contact instructions.
b. Please be prepared to pick it up in person during the delivery time between 8 am and 8 pm. - On the day of delivery
a. Our professional delivery driver will contact you 1 hour before arrival. Even if there is no phone connection, the delivery will proceed as it is.
b. Please ensure that the delivery vehicle has a safe route of movement and double-check that stairs or elevator access is available.
c. An adult over the age of 18 must be present on site during the delivery time. If you cannot be contacted or are absent, the delivery will be treated as a failure, in which case you must IKEA Customer SupportYou will need to call and pay for the redelivery appointment and cost.
d. Please prepare your order confirmation and contact information.
e. The delivery driver will move the goods to your home and take you to one of the rooms you have specified. However, if you want to return an existing product from home, please note that you cannot return it directly to the delivery driver.
f. After receiving the goods, please compare them with the order and check whether the packaging is damaged. If there is a problem with the packaging, the delivery driver will take it directly to IKEA.
g. If you apply for assembly service together at the time of order and specify the same date, the assembly service will be carried out with delivery.
