How can I sell my used furniture back to IKEA?

Follow the steps below to give your used products a second life.

  1. Follow the steps of the Buy-back tool below to get a preliminary offer of the second-hand value of your furniture. This offer will be valid 30 days.
  2. Bring your assembled IKEA furniture, together with the preliminary offer, to your nearest IKEA store. An IKEA co-worker will make a final assessment of your product and confirm the offer.
  3. You will get a refund card for the agreed amount to spend in the store. This card is valid for 36 months.
  4. Your furniture will then be resold in our second-hand area for the same price as we pay you, plus VAT.

If we are unable to sell your second-hand products, we will dispose of them responsibly and recycle them wherever possible.

The buyback service is currently for personal home products only, and the number of products used is limited to up to three per person per day.
