What shipping services does IKEA offer?

IKEA offers furniture delivery, home delivery, and pick-up services. Furniture shipping includes Economy delivery and Standard delivery, as well as customized delivery options. Parcel delivery is suitable for sending small items via courier, while the pick-up service is a service that allows you to pick up your order directly at an IKEA store or a designated pick-up point.

  1. Furniture Shipping
    This service will deliver your order directly to your address.
    Buildings with 4 floors or more without elevators can only be delivered up to the 3rd floor. You can apply for ladder truck service for delivery to the 4th floor or higher.
    The ladder truck service costs 90,000 won.
    a. Economical delivery (non-face-to-face)
    We will deliver the goods to the front door of the selected shipping address (common entrance or lobby for apartments). In case of absence, leaving at the door is automatically applied, and it will be delivered sequentially between 8 a.m. ~ 8 p.m. Shipping costs start from as low as 9,000 won. (If you use thrifty delivery, you cannot apply for assembly service.)
    b. Standard delivery (Face-to-Face)
    The delivery driver will transport and place the goods to the designated location in your home. It is not possible to specify a time zone and will be delivered sequentially between 8 a.m. ~ 8 p.m. Shipping costs start from as low as 14,000 won, and we will call you 1 hour in advance before delivery.
    c. Customized delivery (face-to-face + time zone specified)
    In addition to transportation to a designated location in your home, this is a delivery service that allows you to choose a specific time slot you want. There are four time slots to choose from: 8 a.m. ~ 11 a.m., 11 a.m. ~ 2 p.m., 2 p.m. ~ 5 p.m., and 5 p.m. ~ 8 p.m. Shipping costs start from as low as 19,000 won.
    *If you would like to use the delivery service for Resource Circulation Hub (AS-IS) products, please pay at the checkout counter and receive the delivery service at the delivery desk. If you are shipping an assembled resource circulation hub product, you can use the delivery service for 40,000 won per product. If you purchase a new product and an assembled Circular Hub product instead of the one that is currently on sale within the Circulation Hub, you will receive a 30% discount on the total shipping cost. Please refer to the product description to see if the product is eligible for delivery service.

     
  2. Parcel Delivery
    It is suitable for small orders such as accessory products or home décor with a total weight of 25 kg or less. The delivery date provided is the estimated delivery timeline, and the actual delivery will take about 7 business days from the date you placed your order.

     
  3. Pick-up Service
    This service allows you to pick up your order directly from an IKEA store. Once your order is ready, we will inform you of the pick-up method and location by SMS or email. Please prepare proof of purchase (order confirmation) at the time of pick-up. If someone else is picking you up for you, you will need to bring your order confirmation and ID. If you fail to pick up on your scheduled pick-up schedule, your order will be cancelled and the cost of the product will be refunded, excluding the service fee.
