How to choose a kitchen extractor

When choosing which extractor will best suit your kitchen, make sure to consider its:

1. Size

Your extractor should be at least as wide as your hob for it to work properly.

2. Extractor type

Buy the right extractor for your kitchen. If you have an open-plan kitchen, you'll need a quieter extractor.

3. Valve or filter?

Check whether you can connect the extractor to a valve. If not, you need to connect it to a carbon filter that eliminates odours and grease.

Types of extractors

Wall-mounted extractors

Choose one that blends into your kitchen or one that really stands out.

Noise levels

Installation type and operating speed affect extractor noise levels.

Decibel levels are listed in the product information. Compare decibel levels and choose whichever extractor is most practical and best-suited for your needs.
