What brackets and fittings are included with BESTÅ shelves? Why don't they fit in sometimes?
Each shelf includes four standard brackets for the usual installation. If you want a gap at the back, you need to use the brackets supplied with the hinges.

Make sure the brackets are positioned correctly according to the type of installation you choose; otherwise, the shelf will not fit properly.
