A STORHET glass with homemade tiramisu

Ingredients

2 egg yolks
3 tablespoons sugar
1 pinch of salt
225 g mascarpone
200 ml cream
cooled coffee
approx. 200 g sponge fingers
KAFFEREP ginger biscuits with almond slivers
a little cocoa powder for dusting

Here's how to do it:

  1. Beat the egg yolks and sugar with a mixer until creamy, then carefully fold in the mascarpone.
  2. Whip the cream until stiff in a separate bowl.
  3. Mix the egg yolk-mascarpone, cream and pinch of salt together.
  4. Dip the sponge fingers in the coffee (not too long, otherwise they will become very soft) and place them in the glass.
  5. Spread a thin layer of mascarpone cream on top. Repeat the process.
  6. Just before filling the glass to the top, dip the KAFFEEREP ginger biscuits in the coffee and spread them over the mascarpone layer.
  7. Top with the cream and sprinkle with baking cocoa.

Hands prepare coffee using a strainer over a black cup on a dark surface, surrounded by a round tin of biscuits, sponge fingers and scattered coffee beans. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting.
