This month’s trend colour: raspberry red

Summer is here! When it comes to colour, we can look forward to a happy, colourful season over the coming months. And not only because of the current Pantone trend colours for 2022, which will bring a fresh sea breeze and Mediterranean holiday feel into your home.

From red to pink…

One of the colour trends for 2022 is muted red shades. These range from raspberry red to coral red and right through to shades of dusty pink. These colours will lift your mood and bring vitality and cheerfulness into your home. Ideally, you should combine these with a soft and neutral base to create a living environment that suits your tastes exactly and that will energise you, inspire you and reflect your innermost thoughts.

Tip: Not only shape, but also colours are THE most important design feature in interior design. We’ve found monochrome colour schemes to be very popular, but they can also quickly become boring. To bring a new colour trend into your home, you don’t necessarily need to go out and buy a red sofa or paint your walls, however. Experiment with pillows, a rug, or with textiles in general, as well as small accessories and decorative items. These are ideal ways in which to incorporate slightly different colour accents.
