Retro revival

I’m used to moving around. We often moved when I was a kid so staying put in one place is not my thing. Switching up my personal or decorating styles to explore something new are simply a part of who I am. I’m literally inspired by a bit of everything.

When I do think about finally moving out into my own place, it feels scary. It makes me think I’ll be in one place forever. My need for change might be why I love things that have been around for a while and styles that are reminiscent of the past. Retro design is something I actually like holding onto.

Curated by me | Izzy

Design student, Izzy from the UK, has a style that’s youthful, vibrant, and full of colour. She is the inspiration for an IKEA Curated by me collection of products that make it easy to switch things up when your mood—or style—changes. We call her curation Retro revival.

Because I study design, I appreciate every possible style. I know that every style has a place and can be beautiful.
