An autumn look for your table

Autumn is here! With its warm colours, it creates a cosy atmosphere, which also finds its way into our home with the appropriate autumn decorations and provides warmth and comfort, even if the weather is dull and cold.

We again spend much more time at home with friends and family at a lively table. What could be better than setting the table in warm, autumn colours, beautiful tableware and with an original and creative table decoration for autumn? Let us inspire you and show you how it's done.

Textiles in earthy, warm tones for an autumnal table decoration

For our autumn table decoration, we played with the colours rust red, brown and black. This earthy, natural colour palette creates a stylish and warm contrast to the wood-coloured tabletop.

A special feature of our autumn table decoration are the placemats: we made them from cushion covers made of rust red linen with a slightly crumpled structure. Creating an original and elegant look at the same time, as they each hang another 10 cm over the edge of the table. The napkins are made of plain linen tea towels. With a loose knot, they go perfectly with our simple autumn look.

Vintage chocolate brown and black ceramic tableware: a trendy mix for your table

Who would have thought it? Tableware in dark chocolate - the trend from the 70s - is celebrating its big comeback. What's particularly great about it is that it's wonderfully suitable for combining with all kinds of colors.

For our table decoration for autumn, we chose a mix of beautiful ceramic plates in muted anthracite and matt black cutlery. This composition looks rustic on the one hand, but also elegant and modern on the other.

A slightly different autumn table decoration

As an autumn table decoration, we would like to show you an alternative to the usual pumpkins or colourful leaves that are usually used.

Focusing on the colours, we have chosen a selection of small to medium-sized cacti, which alternate with rustic candles in matt black to decorate the entire length of the table in autumnal style. This creates a unique and simple look that at the same time is extremely cosy and homely.

By the way, you can reuse the cacti for your summer table decoration and until then they'll look great on your window sill.
