IKEA: Would you like to briefly introduce yourselves?
We are the Aebersold family, and we live in a house together with my parents. I work in the media industry, and my wife is self-employed. We have been together for 11 years, and since the summer of 2021 there are now four of us.
IKEA: Why did you opt for a heat pump?
There were several decisive factors here. Of course, the financial side was also something we took into consideration. We didn’t want to simply opt for the cheapest solution, however, but rather the one that actually suited us best.
We also wanted to do something for the environment. I have to be honest: it makes us feel good to know that we don’t need the oil supplier to come every time for us to be warm. It’s just a great combination, and in the end it didn’t take long to decide: a heat pump and a solar panel on the roof was simply the right combination for us.
IKEA: So why did you then opt for IKEA as your heat pump partner?
We searched online for a long time, requested a few quotes, and were finally won over by IKEA’s overall package. What’s more, we had already ordered our kitchen from IKEA and were very satisfied, which was another plus point.
The quote from IKEA is excellent, versatile and customisable. I had a lot of options to choose from. The advice was very good, which ultimately contributed to our decision to go with IKEA. I was able to have many things explained to me, and a thousand questions come up since everything is new. I must have read half a book about it by the end. There are many things that you can choose to have done, but which can also be left out entirely. It simply won us over.
