Why do prices change at IKEA?
We always strive to keep prices low, and we lower prices whenever it's possible.
Various external influences, such as the disruption to global supply chains, meant that IKEA Switzerland was forced to increase the prices of some items since 2021.
Due to a slight easing of procurement prices, we were able to reduce the prices of around 400 products. However, these procurement prices are still well above the level of before the start of the pandemic.
We continue to put a lot of effort into keeping our prices as low and as stable as we possibly can. Price quotes will be honored for the period for which they are valid.
If you would like to see which products we have recently permanently lowered prices for, you can get inspiration on our website under "Lower prices for you".
At IKEA, the principle is that there should be no price differences online and offline. Under certain circumstances, our stores and our website may offer special offers and promotions for certain products, depending on the purchase in this sales channel and the applicable conditions.
