IKEA presents: Hus of FRAKTA
September 4–7
Bogen D, Viaduktstrasse 93, Zurich
Turn blue into something you
FRAKTA means "to transport" in Swedish – and that's exactly what the bag was originally designed for: to carry IKEA purchases home comfortably. Today, it is much more than just a bag – it is a cult object and a faithful companion in the laundry room, at the recycling center, or on the beach. Durable, robust, and versatile, it stands for everyday practicality, creative reuse, and sustainable thinking.
At HUS OF FRAKTA, IKEA shows how much more there is to the bag and, together with Zurich artist Yael Anders, opens up new perspectives on the versatility of this world-famous design icon.<br>Inspired by Yael's creative vision, interactive workshops invite you to customize and rethink the blue bag. Let yourself be transported to a world where design meets durability – and transform something familiar into something truly personal. Whether you want to personalize your bag or simply explore the space, HUS OF FRAKTA invites you to experience design in your own unique way.
