I accidently damaged a product during transport or assembly. What do I do?
Things don't always go as planned and sometimes accidents happen! As an IKEA Family member, you're in good hands. If you damage an item during transport or assembly, you can exchange it in our stores within 14 days of the date of purchase or date of delivery.
The only condition is that you must have used your IKEA Family card when purchasing your item. Read more about IKEA Family benefits on the IKEA Family page.
If the item or part of it is damaged, please contact us or visit customer service at one of our stores to file a claim. To make it a hassle-free, have your order number or proof of purchase ready.
