Not safe RickI’ve installed a lightbulb and switch it in on. It got very hot and started to melt! Not good at all.1

Too lightGrahamThe base is too light compared to the lamp head. It is unstable and slides around easily. The button on the cord is not close enough to the lamp. The cord running up to the lamp head is unsightly and pulls the lamp over.1
Works, wish the light bulb came in white colourPhuongLight was easy to assemble but be careful and assemble on floor on a cloth. The paint chipped off the base I accidentally dropped from my table when I was connecting it. I wanted a white light bulb but the only bulb available at IKEA was yellow. Please make these light bulbs in white light. I like how the light can be moved around and stays in place.4
