Really cute soft lightMacyThe light it emits isn’t massive but I really like the warmth. Rechargeable and portable so it’s easy to move around
ITS A TOTAL DUD!ClaireIkea - take note of your reviews. This product does not work. Batteries fully charged but it turns off after a minute or so. Useless, useless. TAKE IT OFF THE SHELF!
Doesn’t workMarykeStopped working after a couple of days. Turns off after 30 seconds.
doesn’t work and flimsyMiaDoesn’t stay on at all, I even changed batteries. The top lid also drops no matter how much you tighten it. The base also detaches easily. It’s disappointing
Doesn’t lastNicholasWas great while it lasted but the switch broke and now I can’t turn it on but when it does come on I can’t turn it off!
Doesn’t work LauraI charge the lamp and change batteries and it doesn’t stay on.
It’s a pity because the light is beautiful and it’s such a cute bookshelf addition.
Light not staying on.AliceI wish I read the reviews first. Mine are doing the same as everyone elses and turning off every few seconds. They should take the item off the shelves since everyone has been reviewing the same faults for months.
Saddest light yet so beautiful LouisaI’ve charged , changed batteries an the light still won’t stay on . I’m so disappointed because I wanted to love it - why doesn’t this work IKEA ?
Not fit for purpose AmyLight won’t stay on. Changed the batteries and still turns off after about 2 minutes. I have had the product about three weeks!
Shade design is also poor. Even if you tighten as much as possible, one little knock and it tilts.
Such a shame as the pink glow is stunning but unfortunately this will now end up in landfill.
Given the number of reviews, pointing out the same issue, I’m suprised IKEA hasn’t pulled the product.
Doesn’t workAdinaIt worked at first for a week or so, and now doesn’t matter how you charge it it does not work unfortunately, and we have changed batteries . It’s beautiful it’s shame it does not work
Doesn’t stay onCatherineLovely looking lamp and its purpose was to add light in the hallway where there are no plug sockets. Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing as I see that others have had the same problem. The light is on for a few seconds then turns off. Totally useless
Not turning on/chargingMatildaI bought this lamp, followed all the instructions including the IKEA batteries and it will not work. I have had it charging and the light blinks and never fully charges or turns on. Really sad because i love this lamp, but it has frustrated me so much!!!
Doesn't charge via usb-CAnastasiiaDoesn't charge via usb-C, you have to remove batteries and charge them with a standalone charger every time.
Doesn’t workAndreaI’ve bought this lamp twice - both times it works for 1 minute then turns off. Have put in tonnes of batteries and charged - still useless
Very cuteAnonymous reviewerCute and beautiful! Nice colour. Remember to buy rechargeable batteries.
Portable LampChuenVery nice
Doesn't work Anonymous revieweradded batteries, tried to charge and just keeps turning off after 1 second. So disappointing.
Don’t bother NatashaAnnoying to assemble and then it doesn’t function properly.
Light Keeps Turning OffEricaLove the look of these lamps, even purchased two of them so my husband and I could have matching on each bedside. Unfortunately, they don't stay on for more than a few seconds at a time. They worked fine at first but quickly started playing up. We've tried everything from the Ikea rechargeable batteries to normal ones, no matter what, the light turns on for a few seconds then back off. One of them also has an issue with the button that gets stuck. So frustrating for something we love the look of so much. Sadly will have to return.
