They are seriously one of my favorite IKEA items, and I have a LOT of things from IKEA. They are super easy to assemble, lightweight, stackable, and very strong. I use them as a step stool all the time. I’m actually considering ordering some for my elementary Art classroom to replace some of my standard chairs.5

Bad flaw in wood grain of seat JillBad flaw in wood grain of seat. There was a bad black mark right in the center of the seat in the wood grain. Not worth returning for $20 but not happy with this purchase. Unable to attach pictures to this review1

falls overSusanbought 3 of these 'useless' stools....if any of my cats would jump on one, it would fall over and if you don't sit on it where you are directly under one leg, again, falls over! very dangerous and idiotic design! NO support when only have THREE legs vs FOUR! Had to donate all of them for 'safety' sake (didn't want to deal with a cat with a broken leg just from jumping on a stool!)1

Primary functionMIt's marketed as a stool but I don't see any pictures of a person sitting on one. I'm a small person with a well padded backend and it is OK as a stool but I haven't tried to sit on it for a great length of time. Like most people, I use it as an end table or to prop my feet up.4
