Awesome sofaRENEAwesome sofa5
Practical, great for guestsHopeWe love the Friheten sofa, it's great for guests. The sofa is a little firm but if you buy a mattress pad it's more com.4
Good bang for the buck.EricGood bang for the buck. Not the easiest assembly.3
Hard bedCameoNice but too hard.3
Great for a Small SpaceCathyThis was quite the assembly feat, even for a seasoned Ikea customer! It was easy enough and everything fit as expected; it was just a long process. The sofa, however, is perfect for my spare bedroom which has been converted to a work from home space. Others have complained about how firm the seat/mattress is but I love it and think it is perfect. I love the storage underneath and the ease of conversion to a bed. I think what I love most, however, is that it has a relatively small footprint for a pull out sofa, a modern clean look, and it is comfortable for what it is. For an everyday sofa, it isn't the most comfy, but for decent seating and flexibility in a spare room, it is great! I almost went with a daybed when converting the room. We had a queen bed in the spare room before, so I immediately thought of a pull out daybed. A decent looking daybed with mattress, though, was actually more than this sofa and not as clean looking.5
Just what we were lookingmaryJust what we were looking for5
The only thing if youDinaThe only thing if you had a smaller one with 2 pillow the same desig as this 3 pillows would perfec to have the perfec set.5
Love my new couchEdmeeUpdated the guest bedroom to make an office while still needing a place for overnight guests. Works perfectly in the room. It is a long piece of furniture. Comfortable to sleep in or just cozy up and do work.5
It works.JEMMEIt is what it is. The couch itself is fine. Moderately comfortable, definitely need extra back support so get a lumbar pillow. The material is just not durable and dog hair clings to it like crazy.3
We love it!Reenie428Easy to put together, comfortable and looks great! Got the blue and we just love it!5
Best sofa bed design ever!VM349Used as a couch and guest sleeper in a studio apartment. It stores pillows, comforter, sheets and mattress pad inside with room to spare. The design makes it easy to pull out into a queen size bed that has the firmness of an Ikea medium firm mattress. We absolutely love it!5
Transformed my roomRachelle452I bought this a month ago for my bedroom. It helps tremendously with my small space and with the mental separation from sleep mode to work mode now that I work from home. This is a great piece of furniture, it is comfortable for nightly use. I did get a topper for it to help my queen sheets fit better.5
great guest bedroom additionkyaci was pleasantly surprised when my sleeper sofa came. since ikea was closed because of the virus, i could only trust my instincts (and the many times i have shopped there) to decide which sleeper sofa would be good for us. the material was really nice; the color was what i expected. but putting it together is a definite 2-person job. it wasn't that difficult, just cumbersome. the one negative i would have to say was putting the side arms in place. one went in quite easily; the other, not so much. i still don't think it's in place correctly, but it will have to do.4
Just as picturedKDC2006Ordered online after going into store for another sleeper sofa that was out of stock. This is great for our bonus room. My 14 year old put it together.5
Good spare sofa sleepercca34jmaBought this to use as a spare sleeper if necessary. Its a little hard sleeping on, but is a good sofa.4
horrible servicejo30Ordered this sofa, waited a month to receive it and it arrived damaged. Cannot get in touch with anyone to help. I've been to the store numerous times and the person who can fix this is never there. I just want a sofa that is not damaged and for someone to pick up the damaged one!1
Awesome design except for getting beddingMyNameIsTakenThis couch is beautiful, comfortable and easy to use. Very thoughtful design. HOWEVER, the size of the bed portion is 57x80 so full fitted sheets are too small and queen are too big. It baffles me that Ikea wouldn't take that into consideration when designing this couch. If they just adjusted the frame by a few inches it would be perfect and the bedding wouldn't be loose and wrinkly4
Awesome sofa bedFHR MommaI bought this to accommodate my visiting family so that they wouldn’t have to sleep on an air mattress. The sofa fits great in my spare room and I love that there is storage for pillows and blankets. It is firm yet super comfortable to sleep on since I had to sleep on it for about a week while my bedroom was being remodeled and assembly was super easy.5
Great for a motorhomeTheDixieCupRVWe purchased this sofa to replace the smaller jack-knife sofa in a 36-foot motorhome. It has worked out well for this purpose; the bed can be opened even with the back against the wall. It is easy to open; we were easily able to route the seatbelts up through the sofa; and the storage underneath the seat is a bonus. In comfort, this is a great improvement over the old sofa. Although we haven't used it much yet, it seems to be a well-built piece.5
We use it as a day bed and it"s wonderful!Nikki2NikkiWe bought this a couple of weeks ago for my daughter (8 years old) to use as her bed. She has an older sister so she's excited to move to the tween stage and have her own, cool space. She bought the Ikea mosquito net to go over it and she's in heaven. I will say, when my husband who is just under 200 lbs reads to her at night, it sort of worries me that the frame won't hold him. So far, it has but there's just a bit of concern on my part. That said, the fabric seems very nice, not too itchy and doesn't seem cheap to me. We got this in the As Is Department so we feel like we really lucked out to simply have Ikea Delivery arrive with it all set up and ready to assembly for us! Yay As Is! Because we received it already assembled, I am not rating that section below.5
