One Time Use - Shrinks!SharonI gave this product 2 stars instead of 1 just because they look good and are thick enough for hot and cold weather window covering. After the 1st wash in COLD water and low setting on dryer these panels didn’t shrink a little, they shrank almost 7-8 inches! I got one use out of 4 panels and now have to get rid of them. I’m so disappointed, they looked really nice.
Light filtering, not darkeningJenniferI purchased these to have a room darkening effect in my living room to make it possible to watch the projector during daylight. I already have blinds up and planned to layer them with another set of light filtering curtains, but even with all three together, substantial light was coming through. The new curtains darkened the room less than my other ones, also from IKEA, and labeled at the light filtering level. I will be returning them.

Very nice quality!AnnFor the money, these are truly some of the best off-the shelf-drapes I've purchased!! The weight of the fabric and quality are very nice...fabric doesn't have a lot of sheen, which I like, and is a nice weight. These are classified as "room darkening" which still lets in some light so our bedroom is not pitch black like a "blackout" fabric would make it, and it definitely filters way more light than a "light filtering" drape. I don't think you can ask for much better than these for $40!

Wrong lengthAnonymous reviewerI bought size 57x98 to replace my existing Curtains that are the same measurements. After putting them up i noticed they are shorter than my existing ones. I measured the length with a measuring tape and they are 93 inches long? Confused and need a replacement
Needs better quality controlSusanI love the fabric of these drapes, although they are not true blackout more light filtered and I plan to put a blackout curtain behind them. I bought them to modify them as I couldn’t buy this quality fabric at this price per yard, at the fabric store. I purchased 2 sets of these curtains, which it what I needed for one window. After hanging one of these to get measurements. I proceeded to cut and hem presuming they would have been accurately made at the factory. To my dismay the 108” length was 108” on one of the sets and 112” on the other set. Both were labeled 108” which was the longest length available. So after presuming they were correct one set were 4” longer. Yes, I probably should have checked the length of both sets, but, if you are purchasing mass produced product you expect them to be the same. I was not happy! Had to go back and purchase another set to be able to accurately make the second set. So, make sure you check the length before you make any modifications.

Not Actually Washable. Ruined when washed.LaurenFor the first year, these curtains were quite beautiful, but when it came time for a wash, they drastically shrunk.....6 inches (no exaggeration). The instructions call for up to medium heat on the dryer, but I went on low heat just in case, and they shrunk nonetheless. At this point, they don't even cover the door. DO NOT WASH. It became unusable.
