Accessibility in the store

Our store is fully accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The aisles are wide, there are wheelchair-accessible toilets, and wheelchairs can be borrowed at the store entrance.

Accessibility outside

Near the entrance, there are designated parking spaces for people with disabilities and families with young children. Parking spaces with a charging station are available for electric cars at the front of the building. If you're coming by bike, you can use the bicycle parking area. No car or bike? Bus line 5 stops in front of the building. 

Getting here by public transport 

No car or bike? Travel to IKEA Groningen by public transport. From Groningen Central Station, take bus 5 towards Harkstede or Meerstad and get off at the IKEA stop.

Rent an IKEA cargo bike

There are two cargo bikes available at IKEA Groningen. If you don’t have your own transport and live in Groningen, you can rent one! For more information, please ask at the customer service desk in store.

We have charging stations in the car park for your electric car.
