Dear -tism community I present to you: The Best MugNI bought my first two OFANTLIGT mugs about six years ago, when I moved into my first place and was starting university. I did not have much money at the time, and for me these mugs were on the expensive side, so I could only afford two.
Very quickly, they became my favourite mugs. The balance when you lift them, the weight, the gentle handle, the pressure of the handle on my finger, the tilt needed for drinking, and the amount they hold all feel very considered.
Because I only had two, picking one in the morning became a small game, and on the days I did, it felt like a little reward and a special tea time.
They have been with me through long study sessions, quiet early mornings and late night teas, and they still look and feel solid after years of daily use.
Some time ago I noticed that other pieces in the OFANTLIGT series were discontinued, so I went back to IKEA and bought all the remaining OFANTLIGT mugs they had in the store, so now I have enough to last me for many years :)
