A top panel helps you create a uniform look by hiding potential joints between frames.

Made of tempered glass that is both hardwearing and durable.

Provided with safety film - reduces damage if the glass is broken.

    Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. In case it would break, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

Bad quality and appearance of the new versionRaluca-MihaelaHad a terrible experience with buying this top panel as I've already had two others at home and needed an extra one. The new one looks much worse since it's white-green instead of white (I considered replacing the other two, but those were much nicer in appearance and quality), it's much thinner and you can actually see the lines between the units which defeats its purpose and despite all of this, even it's now more expensive than it used to be. Overall, it's in a poorer quality than older versions of this top panel and would not recommend buying this to anyone.1

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
