90-day trial period for your mattress
We think it's important that your new mattress is comfortable and right for you. That's why IKEA gives you 90 days to decide whether you're happy with your choice.
How it works
It may happen that the mattress you bought does not suit you. That's okay! You may return your purchased mattress once within 90 days and choose another one. This also applies to a mattress that you bought online. In the conditions we state which mattresses are included in this offer.
We ask you to try the mattress for at least 4 weeks. It takes about a month for your body to get used to a new mattress and the mattress to your body. Still not a good match after 4 weeks? Return the mattress and choose another mattress if you want.
Step 1: Return the mattress
You can return the mattress to the customer service desk in the store or have it picked up at home. You will receive the purchase amount back in the form of an IKEA refund card. Any transport costs are for your own account.
Contact our Customer service if you prefer to have your mattress to be picked up at your home.
Step 2: Choose another mattress
With the Refund card you received after returning, you can choose another mattress if you want. Take a look in store and ask an employee for advice to see which mattress suits you best. Do you want to order online? We have an online tool that can help you choose.

If you choose a more expensive mattress, you will pay the difference. If you choose a lower priced mattress, the remaining amount will remain on your IKEA refund card. You cannot exchange the Refund card credit for cash.
Conditions
You can exchange your mattress once within 90 days. Make sure the mattress you return is not dirty, marked or damaged.
