How does IKEA handle customer feedback / surveys?
Among other things, we ask you via the telephone menu if we may conduct a telephone survey. If you agree, a computer will call you back after the interview. The computer will ask you questions and you can give feedback over the phone. In case of a chat session, you can give feedback via a link in the chat.
We hope of course that you have been helped to your satisfaction. If that is not the case, we take the feedback with us to see how we can improve. We look carefully at the comments you make. We use the answers and comments efficiently in order to optimize our services. The answers are anonymized and automatically deleted after we have worked with them.
IKEA looks at all customer processes and steps the customer has been involved in. We look at where the question arose, for example in the store or during transport, how things could be improved and how we can make good things even better. We also look at the solution. Was the problem solved well in the eyes of the customer, or was there something else or could something have been better?
All in all, we are very happy with all the feedback our customers give us and we strive to do a little better every day!
